Born in Erzincan in 1962, Prof. Dr. Osman Demirdöğen completed his primary and secondary education in Çayırlı and high school in Erzincan, and then completed his higher education in Erciyes University, Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, Department of Business Administration. After completing his Master's Degree at Atatürk University Social Sciences Institute between 1986-1988, he also did his Master of Science at Nottingham University between 1989-1991. Having completed his doctorate in Atatürk University Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences in 1993, Prof. Dr. Demirdöğen became an associate professor in 1999 and a professor in 2005. Demirdöğen, who worked collaboratively at Purdue University Entrepreneurship Center in 2002, gave Entrepreneurship courses at Columbia University (Chicago) in the same period. Working at AU Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences for 31 years, Prof. Dr. Demirdöğen among them, Eastern Anatolia Project (EAP), Local Economic Development Project (YEGP), Small-Scale Business Establishment Project, Young Entrepreneur Development Project, Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan (BTC) Project, Erzurum Provincial Development Plan, Samsun-Kastamonu-Erzurum Regional He worked as the executive and local team leader of many important projects including the Development Project, the Eastern Black Sea Development Program, the European Union Network of Business Development Centers Expansion Project (ABIGEM) in Erzincan and Bayburtu. Demirdöğen, who is specialized in Production Management and Marketing, also provides training and consultancy at national and international level in areas such as Total Quality Management, Project Cycle Management, Entrepreneurship, Strategic Planning, Institutionalization, Efficiency, Time Management. He also took part in the administrative boards of various faculties and colleges, including the Deputy Dean. Dr. Osman Demirdöğen is a member of the Advisory Board of Purdue University Central Asia Productivity Research Center and Nahcivan State University Entrepreneurship Center. Demirdöğen, whose 10 published books and numerous scientific research projects have been published, as well as many articles published in national and international journals, has received many awards from various organizations.
