Prof. Dr. Osman Demirdöğen
Born in 1962 in Erzincan, Prof. Dr. Osman Demirdöğen completed his primary and secondary education in Çayırlı and his high school education in Erzincan. He pursued his higher education at the Erciyes University, Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, in the Department of Business Administration. He completed his postgraduate studies at Atatürk University and the University of Nottingham. In 2002, he taught entrepreneurship courses at the Entrepreneurship Center of Purdue University and Columbia University (Chicago). While serving at the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences of Atatürk University, Prof. Dr. Demirdöğen was involved in several significant projects as a coordinator and local team leader. These projects include the Eastern Anatolia Project (DAP), the Local Economic Development Project (YEGP), the Small Scale Business Establishment Project, the Young Entrepreneur Development Project, the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan (BTC) Project, the Erzurum Provincial Development Plan, the Samsun-Kastamonu-Erzurum Regional Development Project, the Eastern Black Sea Development Program, and the Expansion of the European Union Business Development Centers Network Project (ABIGEM). Specializing in Production Management and Marketing, Demirdöğen also provides national and international training and consultancy in areas such as Total Quality Management, Project Cycle Management, Entrepreneurship, Strategic Planning, Institutionalization, Productivity, and Time Management. He has served in various institutions and institutes both domestically and internationally, playing a pioneering role in the establishment and development of Development Agencies. He has been the President of the DAP Development Administration for a long time.
