The 5th Academic Studies Congress was held in Multan, Pakistan, at MNS-University of Agriculture, Multan. The congress accepted 374 papers, with 70 of them presented in-person. Countries participating in the congress included Zaire, Malaysia, Pakistan, Cyprus, India, Kyrgyzstan, China, Uzbekistan, Burundi, Iran (Islamic Republic of), Nigeria, Afghanistan, and Australia.
