PAPER SUBMISSION CHECKLIST
The scientific responsibility of the papers submitted belongs to the author. Before submitting the paper, authors must check the compliance of their paper with the items listed below. Papers that do not comply with this guide will be rejected.
- The paper submitted to the congress must not have been published or submitted to a journal for publication.
- The paper must comply with the "Author Guidelines" below.
- The papers can be prepared in RTF, DOC or DOCX formats.
- Please check your paper for any spelling errors and make sure that it complies with scientific ethics.
- Papers should be submitted via the online system. The corresponding author must ensure that all co-authors are included in the author list and that all have read and approved the submitted version of the paper.
- It is important that your paper is written in grammatically correct English to facilitate peer review. If your native language is not English, it is recommended that you have your paper edited or read by a native English-speaking colleague before submitting it. You can take advantage of the English editing service of the congress upon request at an additional fee. Professional editing will mean that referees and future readers can better read and evaluate the content of your paper.

AUTHOR GUIDELINES
Our congress accepts only full-text papers. Researchers whose full-text papers are not ready may send abstracts for pre-acceptance and prepare full-text papers before the deadline upon acceptance.
It is considered that the papers submitted have been checked against any spelling errors and are ready for publication.
Papers should be written in Microsoft Word format and Times New Roman font.
Length of Papers
- The total length of the full-text paper (including abstract, main text, tables, bibliography, and appendices) should not be less than 1.500 words or exceed 10 pages. However, if the 10-page limit is exceeded due to the nature of the study, the editor's opinion/approval can be obtained.
Title
- The title should clearly reflect its content, be inclusive, and as short as possible at the same time. The title should be written in all capital letters (only conjunctions in small letters), in Times New Roman, 12 pt and bold, and centered on the page.
- If the paper is derived from a thesis, it should be indicated in a footnote on the first page.
- The sponsors of the study, if any, should be indicated with a footnote on the first.
Author Information
- The full name(s) of the author (s) should be written underneath the title in 11 pt, Times New Roman, and centered on the page. Only the first letters of the name and surname should be capitalized.
- The e-mail address(es), affiliation(s), and ORCID ID(s) of the author(s) should be written in the footnote.
- Authors are required to include ORCID information in their work. ORCID registration can be done at https://orcid.org/register.
Abstract
- All studies should include an abstract between 250 to 500 words on the first page, under the name(s) of the author(s), and structured in accordance with the format stated below.
- The abstract should be written as a single structured paragraph.
- The abstract should objectively express the purpose, method, findings, and importance of the study.
- Papers are written in Turkish, Turkish title, abstract, and keywords should be followed by the title, abstract, and keywords in English. In studies written in English do not require any title, abstract, or keywords in Turkish.
- The abstract should be written in single line spacing, Times New Roman 9 pt, and justified.
Keywords
- Under the abstract, 3 to 6 keywords that best reflect the study should be written.
Page Structure, Section Titles and Subheadings
- The page margin of the study is 2.5 cms from all sides.
- Chapters and sub-headings should be written in 12-point bold, and only the first letters are capital and justified. The numbering should start after the Introduction and follow such as 1., 1.1., 1.1.1., 2, 3. The maximum depth for subsections is three. Introduction and Conclusion sections should not be numbered and should be written in all capital letters in the middle of the page.
- In the Main Text, font-face should be in Times New Roman 11 pt.
- The alignment of whole manuscripts should be justified. Indents; Left: 0 cm, Right: 0 cm; and the indent should be only in the first line and 1.25cm. The space between paragraphs should be 6 nk, and the line spacing should be set to 1.15.
- Page numbers should be given at the bottom right corner.
- Footnotes should be used if absolutely necessary.
Preparation of Figures, Diagrams, and Tables
- All Figures, Diagrams, and Tables should have a short descriptive title.
- The titles should be places underneath Figures, and Diagrams, and above Tables. Titles should be in Times New Roman font-face and 10 pt bold.
- The source information, if any, of the Figures, Diagrams, and Tables should be placed below the respective element.
- All Figures, Diagrams, and Tables should be placed in the main text close to the first quotation and should be numbered sequentially (e.g., Figure 1, Figure 2, Diagram I, Diagram II, Table 1, Table 2).
- All Table columns must have a descriptive title. Smaller fonts size (not smaller than 8 pt) can be used to facilitate editing of larger tables. Authors should use Microsoft Word's Table option to create a table.
- All Figures, Diagrams, and Tables should be submitted in the highest possible resolution/quality, with clearly readable numbers and text.
- If required, the page shape can be used horizontally for Figures, Diagrams, and Tables.
- Tables, Figures, and Diagrams can be used in color or black and white.
- Arabic numbers should be appointed in sequence to the mathematical equations that are going to be included in the text. The numbers should be written in parentheses to the right of the equations
References
- The bibliography should be written at the end of the paper, in justified alignment and Times New Roman 10 pt font-face.
- "REFERENCES" statement should be written in capital letters in the middle of the page.
- The bibliography should start right after CONCLUSION and should be listed alphabetically according to the surname.
- When citing multiple works by the same author, the works should be listed as per publication date, starting with the oldest.
- When citing more than one work of the same author with the same date, references should be numbered using the letters a, b, c,… in bibliography and in-text citations (e.g., Surname, 2003a, 2003b, 2003c).
- In case of citing an author's more than one work, the work with a single author should be listed first.
- The DOI numbers of the bibliography, if any, should be written at the end of the entry.
- References to other publications must be in APA (APA-American Psychological Reference) Style, 7th Edition. The papers that do not comply with APA Style will be rejected.
